Debian version for a new user
Next week I will be installing linux for a new user.
Which version of debian should I choose and why?

debian unofficial testing free
or something else
Mandrake
RedHat
Suse
If you are going to dare to recommend something other
than debian. You better have some good reasons in hand
to over come my general disgust for rpm packages. :)
