Ah. So these are images that were compiled with variations in the CONFIG_M386
kernel config parameter (I just finished loading the the kernel source so I
was able to "grep Duron *" from /usr/src after reading your reply, and I was
able to read /usr/src/Documentation/Configure.help). If that is the case,
then k6 will work on a k7 but possibly not quite as fast.
I do want the k7. Thanks for all the replies to my question.
