collection of partion-howtos
	http://www.Linux-1U.net/Partition

my scheme ( since i dont mind symlinking to other places )
	/ is small as possible
( 256MB or less is good -- allows for single user login
( even if the rest of the disk is corrupt except / )
/tmp is a reasonble size 256Mb for data xfer between machines in
		my case
	/var is 512MB - 1GB for logs or ??
/var/spool/mail stuff is moved to /opt/mail etc for mail
		servers
/var/www is moved to /opt/www for web servers
/usr is 2048 or 4096MB for stuff i plan to install

	/opt - rest of the disks ( /opt/home, /opt/usr/local etc )

every system is built the same .... no exceptions ( sorta )
/etc and /opt is what i backup .. all else is eraseable
since its already on gazillion cds
