After looking into courier-imap further, I see that you can set up
shared folders using the "maildirmake -S" command.  I will look into
this and experiment further.  I assume this is what others on this list
do for their addresses like: debian-user@my_domain_name.com.

I am wondering if anyone can enlighten me on how they have addressed the
above problem.  Is there some way I can also configure postfix to reject
emails to such an address when it has not come from debian?  This would
totally block spam to the account, but would prevent people replying to
me directly.  Can you even configure postfix to reject mail based on
sender address or even better, MTA IP address?

I am interested in others ideas and solutions.
