The SVN and apache2 packages are the ones backported to woody and
available at http://people.debian.org/~cjwatson/subversion-woody/.
The JDK I'm using is the package j2sdk1.3 from a blackdown mirror,
version 1.3.1.02b-2.

As far as I can tell apache2 and the jdk want different g++ and libc
versions, and thus one busts the other. I'm at a loss as to what to do
about it, though :(
