replacement for xv?
Hello!
i tryed several progs that might replace xv but found none for the
moment... they need either ages to load (e.g. gimp) or can't cope with most
file formats (e.g. qiv).....
is there anything out there, supported by normal packages, that is by
any means as lightweight and powerful as xv?
i tryed imagemagic, and since i scan a lot and xsane (isn't there BTW a
better grafical frontend than that one?) produces often corrupt
images, imagemagic isn't able to cope with it.... have to put the images
on gimp, and then save them .... i have a comp with an older conf, where
xv is still on it, and thus the other way is to trasnfere the image
there open with xv and save again.... quite cumbersome....
so if someone has another suggestion....
