RE: building public system -how to disable ctr-alt-backspace etc



I would suggest knoppix as the cd-rom based distro. It's based on Debian, and absolutely rocks.

why not just mount the cd drive in accessibly?
you could screw it to the inside of the case somewhere, then you would
still be able to eject if you wanted to upgrade :)
