On my laptop xv works, but it "compresses" the image vertically to about
3/4 of the height. Is that due to a badly configured X (the only thing
I've done is to add an extra section for my USB mouse), or is it a bug?
And if it's a bug what package should I report it against?

Using XShm things look fine, but the CPU-load increases with 60-80%.
