I have lots of pictures of my extended family and would like to setup a 
system to allow my family members to add their own comments to the 
pictures. I'm thinking some web-based system.

I could easily build something in Java (my preferred programming 
language) but if there is already something that does this, so much the 
better.

Any ideas?
