is the result of telnetting to www.kde.org port 80 then disconnecting.

yeah me either..

another thread brought up the website www.exploits.org for a software
program called network ups tools, I haven't been able to reach this
site for months, another user on the list said he can. not sure why
I can't. Can't ping/traceroute it either. tried multiple machines
both inside and outside my NAT'd network, and ran tcpdump as well,
no repsonses from the remote end..kind of odd!

anyways glad it works now :) I haven't really touched iptables at
all yet, so I'm not famillar with what it's capable of. most of
my systems are 2.2.x, and my firewalls are freebsd.
