CUPS Segfaults

I'm using CUPS with Samsung's PPC Linux driver for the ML-1210. When I
first got the printer, it worked beautifully. At some point, though, I
started running into kernel freezes, and now just obscure segfaults.
I gather from the CUPS log that the segfault occurs in the child
process, /usr/lib/cups/backend/usb. The error that cups reports is
client-error-not-possible. A full log of a test page printed from the
web admin tools is at http://brianhv.org/badcups/testpage.log.

I'm using Debian stable with security updates:
pn cupsomatic-ppd <none> (no description available)
ii cupsys 1.1.14-4.4 Common UNIX Printing System(tm) - server
rc cupsys-bsd 1.1.14-4.4 Common UNIX Printing System(tm) - BSD comman
ii cupsys-client 1.1.14-4.4 Common UNIX Printing System(tm) - client pro
un cupsys-driver- <none> (no description available)
ii cupsys-pstoras 1.1.14-4.4 Common UNIX Printing System(tm) - pstoraster

The machine has correct /dev/usb/lp0 and /dev/usb/lp1 devices. The
printer appears in dmesg, and appears to be at least a little
communicative (as contrasted by the "no such device" errors I get when
trying lp1).

If anyone could help me track this down, I'd really appreciate it. I've
gone too long without being able to print on this machine.
