I see your point about using disk 5 here, but I've just had VMware 3.2
under SuSE 8.2 die 3 times trying to get a Debian VM installed. I get
this error:

VMware Workstation Unrecoverable error: (VMX)
AIO: NOT_IMPLEMENTED F(504):484

Anyone know what this means? After the second time, I thought it might
be because I was installing my virtual disk on a vfat volume, and VMware
had complained about this. For the third try, I recreated the filesystem
on that volume as ext3, but still got the same error.
