Ouch. That didn't quite go as well as I'd hoped.
I tried to dpkg -i postgresql, and it complained about postgresql-client.
So I downloaded that too, and tried to install it, but it stopped the
postmaster and more or less broke everything before it decided it couldn't
complete because of a dependency on libpq3 (which wasn't listed on that
site). Isn't it supposed to figure that out _before_ it starts trashing
my system?
Anyway, with a little effort (removing both packages), I was able to
reinstall the old versions.
Do you have some hints on how to do this properly?
