I don't know what is wrong with my Windowmaker. If I start a gtk2 program (e.g. gimp-1.3, mozilla-snapshot) the titlebar is flickering a while of the started program. Maybe gtk2 (or windowmaker?) is telling me the focused program, but i don't know how to disable that. This comes only with gtk2 programs. I tested it on other windowmanagers and they run fine (without flickering). I'm using debian sid, windowmaker 0.80.1-6. Thanks for ideas...
