AW: 686 optimized libc6

Hi I have set the flags and run
Apt-get source libc6 -compile

The gcc command looks like :

gcc ../sysdeps/generic/lockfile.c -c -O2 -Wall -Winline -Wstrict-prototypes
-Wwr
ite-strings -fstrict-aliasing -g -pipe -pg -I../include -I.

I think it does not care about the CFLAGS variable??

Whoa, time to stop the train.

If you have never compiled source by hand before, libc6 is *not* the
package to try this out for the first time with. Botching libc6 is a
great way to hose most of your system (including basic commands like
ls and bash).
