samba_2.999+3.0.alpha23-3 produces errors (debian unstable)

hi list,

since updating to samba_2.999+3.0.alpha23-3 samba produces the following 
output when I try to connect:

That is, no printing, no windows shares.
Downgrading to samba_2.999+3.0.alpha21-1 resolves this.

Any clue what's going on?

PS: is there a more convenient way to downgrade besides downloading the 
target version by hand and issueing dpkg -i <file.deb> ??
