Somewhere in your cups config it thinks it is supposed to use 'foomatic-rip' as a filter on jobs sent to that printer. Look in /etc/cups/mime.convs and /etc/cups/ppd/Laser3.ppd. In the latter file look for a line starting with "*cupsFilter:". Remove all references to foomatic-rip. If the reference occurs in the PPD file then you may want to (after backing up) remove the PPD and re-"install" the printer queue without using the foomatic drivers/filters. -D -- A violent man entices his neighbor and leads him down a path that is not good.
