Not particularly new, no.  It's a marketroid term for number of times
a page is loaded.  Sites with broken revenue models expect to make
money per ad impression, you can tell these idiots out of the crowd
because they'll have ads on thier site, and if they're truly stupid
enough to think they'll make money that way, the'll have more than one
ad per page.
