Two options:
1. include the modules to be loaded in /etc/modules;
2. define dependancies between modules in a file in /etc/modutils.
Example for the 2nd option: I have the following lines to support my
CD-writer:
options ide-cd ignore=hdc
alias scd0 sr_mod
pre-install sg modprobe ide-scsi
pre-install sr_mod modprobe ide-scsi
pre-install ide-scsi modprobe ide-cd
The last three lines make sure the modules sg, sr-mod and ide-scsi are loaded
automagically when ide-cd is loaded.
Remember to run update-modules as root after you change anything in
/etc/modutils; this will update /etc/modules.conf which does the actual work.
