That's why I like Debian. SuSE dropped support for 486s. Slackware
dropped support for floppy installs. It sounded like Debian was going
to drop floppy installs. I have been re-assured that this isn't the
case. boot-floppies is the name of a particular installer. The new
installer can also install from floppies and will take fewer
floppies. (Fewer than 6 for a network install? or fewer than the 25
or so for a base install). My 486DX25 laptop can continue to run
Debian along with my 133MHz 5x86 Mailman server.
