All. Is it still the case that debian is incompatible with and thus will not install safely on ext2 or ext3 partitions created with partition magic under windows? I refer here to partition magic 8.0 under windows xp. I was able to install red hat 8 on such an ext3 partition. If there is a problem with this can someone tell me why it is the case with debian in particular? thanks. mat.
