Re: please help - can't get Open Inventor demos to build - missing /make/ivcommondefs



Hi list,

Well, I guess running Open Inventor is sort of uncommon here..
I got the missing files from SGI, meanwhile. 
..Put them where they appeared to be needed, and now the stuff builds.
I guess that means the files simply ARE missing from the .deb ,and
actually should be in there.
To be elaborate, the total list of missing files (which make complained
about) is this:

commondefs
commonrules
ivcommondefs
ivcommonrules
releasedefs
system

Also, the paths are different from what the demos expect, so frequently
the sources with those hardcoded paths have to be changed (mostly for
textures).
