NVidia Kernel/GLX
Bien, he aquí mi problema:
Tengo una GForce 2 MX y quiero habilitar la aceleración 3D.
Utilizo Debian 3.0 r1 en un i686 con 512 MB de RAM.
Instalo los paquetes de nvidia que provee Debian en sus CDs, tanto el
kernel como el GLX y los compilo tal y como está descrito en sus
respectivos manuales. Sin embargo, una vez compilado, intento arrancar X
y me aparece lo siguiente:

Quizás he compilado mal, pero eso, de todas formas no debería ocurrir.
Este problema lo he intentado solucionar de diversas maneras, incluso
reinstalando Debian una y otra vez y no hay manera, o bien falla el
código fuente del kernel o bien los paquetes.
Alguien propone una solución sencilla que no implique romperse hasta
este punto la cabeza?
También he probado a instalar los drivers que están en la página de
NVidia y nada de nada, van todavía peor.
En fin, que estoy cansado de pasarme horas y horas dándole vueltas sin
conseguir nada. Estoy a bierto a todas las sugerencias.
