You don't want to. Really ;-)

Well, if you still insist, edit /etc/gdm/gdm.conf and change the line
reading  "AllowRoot=false" to "AllowRoot=true" and you should be all
set if you restart gdm.

Like I said, you *really* don't want to do this.....
