Neither, no. It seems that you've entered "whiptail:" (with the colon)
when plex86-kernel-2.4.20 asked you "Which users do you want in the
Plex86 group?". I suggest using 'dpkg-reconfigure plex86-kernel-2.4.20'
to remove the colon, or perhaps just remove that username altogether.

The appearance of "whiptail:" could have been a bug - I don't know the
package well enough to be sure.
