(ro,soft,intr,rsize=8192,wsize=8192)  might be better

- make sure portmap and rpc.* is running
- make sure that the firewall is NOT blocking nfs traffic
- make sure /etc/hosts.{allow,deny} is NOT blocking nfs traffic
