Not sure what part of the world you're in, but if you're on the west
coast, go hit Fry's Electronics. At the Fry's in Wilsonville, OR, a
733MHz PC with NIC, 30GB HD, 52x CDROM, 128MB SDRAM, and a 56k modem
is selling for $190 (price includes 0% Oregon sales tax). But before
you consider moving to Oregon for cheap hardware, be aware that Oregon
is full and employers look down at folks from out of state (Oregonians
generally have a superiority complex and are proud of it).

Someone needs to be shown the power of KDE and KOffice.

Wow, smoking crack is legal in your area, or do they just keep a good
cover on it? 8:o)

As well it should.

Is there a board of directors or some other group you can end-run
around the current decision to? I'm sure higher-ups would love to
know thier subordinates are refusing to consider a more cost-effective
solution.
