Hi, as I used to use SuSE before Debian I visited old friends:
http://sdb.suse.de/en/sdb/html/mjb_rtl8139_24.html

I think this is the answer to my problems, and the answer has been around
since 2001. Is there a Debian SDB somewhere?

There /are/ reasons for supporting SuSE, guys.
