Re: HELP_NEWBIE! Dns under kde

let me ask you something more:
I've read the manual but something is not clear to me. I need to give a gateway address and search for a DNS server (hostname and 2 IPs number) under a DHCP session.
How can I do?

Many Thanks and Best Regards

Paolo

Hi all!
I'm a very new linux user, and i have a single problem:
I'm trying to configure my network, but in kde is impossible.
In the official user-manual there is a command line to do it :
/usr/bin/ network-configlet-capplet
but doesn't work. Maybe i miss something, i don't know.
There's anothere way to resolve my network configuration?

Yes! The file /etc/network/interfaces. To read the relevant manual,
enter the following on the command line.

man interfaces

Cheers,

Nick.
