I managed to get coredumps working on my debian woody machine (I previously had the ulimit for coredumps set to 0). The problem I have now is that they are just called "core". I was expecting them to be named <program name>.core.<timestamp> or something like that. Can anyone tell me how I can set up the system so that coredumps get named in a nicer, more unique and meaningful way? TIA
