Sure it is, by experience, you MUST recompile it!
lspci, libncurses, kernel-packages are your friends !
X not !
Perhaps can help you (simple reply, always recompilr my kernel and job
forces me to do !). Perhaps I will make an help on my page some time
(dudu.prout.be) just for posterity and search in archive !
