I think testing busted my dri set-up
I've got a voodoo3 using X DRI which _was_ working just fine
until I "upgraded" to testing.
Now it's broke.
Everything I know to check is OK, but when I do glxinfo, dri is NOT
active.
~ $ glxinfo
name of display: :0.0
display: :0 screen: 0
direct rendering: No
^^
Can someone give me a clue ?
Thanks
Brian
Things I _know _ are OK (after all - it _was_ working):
* kernel 2.4.19 has got tdfx compiled in
* /dev/dri/card0 exists and has the correct permissions
* MTRR is compiled into the kernel
* X thinks DRI is OK, i.e. there are no errors and tdfx and dri show
up as modules - also they show up in the xdpyinfo output.
* I think I have the necessary libs installed (although I think the
glide2 stuff is unnecessary):
ii glide2-base 2001.01.26-1.1 Legacy package that you should remove.
ii glide2-bin 2001.01.26-1.1 Binaries for glide2.
ii libglide2 2001.01.26-1.1 Graphics library for 3Dfx Voodoo based cards
ii libglide3 2001.01.26-1.1 Graphics library for 3Dfx Voodoo based cards
ii xlibmesa-dev 4.2.1-3 XFree86 version of Mesa 3D graphics library
ii xlibmesa3 4.2.1-3 XFree86 version of Mesa 3D graphics library
ii xlibosmesa3 4.2.1-3 Mesa/XFree86 off-screen rendering library
