botched ext3 conversion
Whoops,
missed a step converting a box to ext3
procedure i was using was:
1) #tune2fs -j /dev/hda*
for all ext2 file systems.
2) edit /etc/fstab to change all references from ext2 to auto
3) #touch/forcefsck
4) reboot
only i forgot step 2
it rebooted fine and #cat /proc/mounts shows the / file ssystem as ext 2
and the others as ext2
i was thinking of just re-runnign the procedure and rebooting.
is there any danger in this?
TIA
John

Not yet is the spirit of that pristine valour
extinct in you, when girt with steel and lofty flames
once we fought against the empire of heaven.
We were -- that I will not deny -- vanquished in that conflict:
yet the great intention was not lacking in nobility.
Something or other gave Him victory: to us remained
the glory of a dauntless daring.
And even if my troop fell thence vanquished,
yet to have attempted a lofty enterprise is still a trophy.

Innocents) by Giambattista Marino (1569-1625)
