Hello,

I do have k3b 0.7.5 installed however I installed it from the source. The 
website recommends that to be the best way to install it. I know there are 
rpm's available that come with Suse and I think the website has rpms too, not 
sure of debs though.

I would recommend you install from sources since the software is still under 
development. 

By the way, I love K3b :)
