EBDA too big

Hello, 

	First, Happy new Year for all Hope the year become the first of 	   peacefull series.

	To terminate the Year 2002, I had an "EBDA too big" message while 	   booting my 2.4.19 kernel. I work with this kernel since September.

	To activate an external pcmcia scsi cd Recorder, I have added 	   hde=scsi at the end of the append line in lilo.conf.
	
	before change => append="hdc=scsi" 
        after change  => append="hdc=scsi hde=scsi"

	I have booted on my alternate 2.4.18 kernel, removed this option in         the lilo.conf and run lilo. But the error is still there.

	Anyone has an idea ?
