If you can boot Mandrake, you can boot Debian.  The only question is how
much efforts you spent to do it.

Steal Mandrake boot kernel and plug it into Debian boot disk.

Or install debian as chroot using debootstrap in woody from Mandrake.

Or from DOS partition, boot Linux kernel stored there using loadlin
while using floppy kernel....
