eh... don't know how much success you're going to have with real-video.
i have two ideas to try, and their not mutually exclusive.

a - try grabbing the stream and writing it to disk as a .rm file.  iirc
    rtsp is just a hacked up version of ftp, but i may be wrong there.
b - try using mplayer, which now has some limited real media support as
    well as i believe some kind of disk-writer plugin these days...
