base-passwd in sid

Hello,

(I'm not entirely sure if this is the right forum for this problem so
please let me know where to take this if I am off-topic.)

The package base-passwd in sid has refused to install on my box for the
past few weeks.  Here is the output from apt-get:

found

I've checked the contents of the base-passwd.postinst file but I didn't
see anything obviously amiss.
