Catastrophic Tasksel failure on install
I've just installed the latest available stable debian on a new system.
During install, I chose to run "tasksel" to set up my system. As soon
as tasksel came up on the screen, I arrowed around a bit to see what was
available. Once I was ready to select an item (X windows in this case)
I hit space bar not having any readily available documentation on what I
should be hitting.
As soon as I did this, the cursor dropped to the bottom of the screen
and tasksel seemed to exit abnormally. Next a dialog came up asking if
I'd like to run dselect. I declined, and went on with a basic install.
I'm hoping I can run tasksel later to resolve this problem.
Basically I don't know if I ran into a bug or if this behaviour is "by
design". If it is by design, I just have to say the documentation on
tasksel in the debian install is woefully lacking. It neither mentioned
how to use tasksel, nor this problem. It also didn't point me to any
better documentation.
