Re: PEAR DB::connect doesn't

 -- this problem now solved -- by dropping database and re-creating it
from scratch.  Must have had a finger-error in original db; but couldn't
see it.  Still don't know what it was.

The problems with phpnuke and phpwiki remain, however.
