i expect that the disk running at 5400rpm that is rated at 100MB/sec
will perform equally well as a a disk spinning at 7200rpm
( less platters ? )
7200rpm disks tends to run hotter ... needs more air for cooling
and best to use a itty-bitty fan to cool the 7500rpm nd 10,000/15Krpm
disks
