use of folders

hello all

in my home directory, there is a Mail directory that i use to store all folders in mutt.
here is the relevant section of my .muttrc:

now, when i save a message in a folder by hitting s, the folder is created in ~ and not in
~/Mail.

moreover, when i say change folder by hitting c, i am not able to tab-complete folder names
from ~/Mail.

any suggestions on how to set this right?
