keeping pppd alive?
Hello!
i am on an ADSL connection, and most of the time the ppd daemon copes
well with the periodical disconnects, but some times it dies...
i wnat to keep the line up and running as neatly as possible...
i made a script wich uses ping etc to see if the line is up, but this
causes much more disconnects when the line is very lagged...
a friend told me to put the pppd under command of init with a respawn,
but i am not sure that this is the best solution...
what would be the best way to keep allways one pppd running?
