OT: RXVT keypad mapping in mc

Hi all,

I couldn't find an rxvt users list or archive, so i have to bother
you all here...

I just installed rxvt on debian woody with fvwm2. It runs ok,
except when i open midnight commander in an rxvt window, the
keypad up/down/home/end movement keys don't work as they did
in an xterm. When i press them, i just get characters printed:

1/end   -> q
2/down  -> w
3/pgdn  -> s
4/left  -> t
5       -> u
6/right -> v
7/home  -> w
8/up    -> x
9/pgup  -> y

This happens when $TERM=rxvt. If i set $TERM=xterm, then i do
get movements, but only some of the keys work as they should.

How to fix? Does terminfo get used by a curses app in an
X window?
