/etc/network/*.d

May be I have to rephrase my question ?

I notice that Woody introduced in the directory `etc/network'
four subdirectories:
`if-down.d', `if-pre-up.d', `if-post-down.d' and `if-up.d'

Because there are not mentioned in the man page,
I guess there are installed by Debian:
what is the corresponding policy ?

Thanks,
Jerome

Hi All !

Is there any documentation about the usage of the (new)
subdirectories in `/etc/network' ?

man interfaces
