I'd agree with Jamin here.  My former employer Toshiba has an IT manager
that is so anti open source it's unbelievable.  I do believe that one of the
guys still there has finally managed to talk the boss into using a rh box as
a gateway.  yay!!!  I tried to trial openoffice but was rather rudely told
by the boss "we are a microsoft company and we ONLY use microsoft office
here, take that software off NOW".  His tone didn't leave much room for
debate (so much for a caustic german boss ;-) ) - and for those that flame
me for that last comment - i'm half german myself so I have some idea of
what i'm talking about.  My former bosses opinion of Linux was that it was a
piece of *hit and you couldn't get any support for it, and device driver
support was non existant.  I was flabbergasted to say the least...

Anyways...not all employers are unbiased to non microsoft o/s....
