I run a debian woody and I updated to the X86FREE 2.4.1
if I try to run the standard lyx from the debian package 1.1.6fix4 it
crashs with the following output

Sorry, you have found a bug in LyX. If possible, please read 'Known
bugs'
under the Help menu and then send us a full bug report. Thanks!
Bye.

I think its a problem with the xfs server.
when I run the program
xlsfonts -fn -*-helvetica-bold-r-*-*-*-120-*-*-p-*-*-*
I get alot of fonts, so I am a bit confused.
the problem also occurs when I try to run mathematica 4.2. It also
complains about not finding a helvetica font.
if anybody can give me some advice I would be more than happy.
thanks in advance.
