(It's an open bug on an unmaintained package and no solution has been
posted. A comment in a similar bug suggested removing the ulimit from
/var/lib/dpkg/info/vchkpw.postinst and running 'dpkg --configure
vchkpw', but I haven't tried that myself and don't know if it'll help.
If it does, please send a comment to the relevant bug.)
