Also, I just noticed in /var/log/user.log:

Oct  5 23:58:12 poppy hpijs: unable to set DeviceModel=deskjet 5550
Oct  5 23:58:12 poppy hpijs: unable to set device=-1, err=16

Does anyone have any experience with this?
