when trying to copy large files from my cdrom drive (mounted on /cdrom from /dev/hda) I get this error for each file: cp: reading `Scrubs 201 - My Overkill.avi': Input/output error this happens to all files over 3.1 or so meg. All files that it affects are truncated at 3145728 bytes please help - as I have to boot into windows to copy these CDs Deb kernel 2.4.18 (custom build) thanks, Andrew P.S. - please reply to me, I unsubscribed from the list.
